SUMMER JUMP ROPE CAMP 2018

The 2nd year of the Summer Jump Rope Camp had in total 135 participants from 7 different countries and 3 continents (CZ, DE, BE, HU, FIN, RU, USA)

The event was held in a modern multifunctional 'Sports Hall Eleven' in Prague, Chodov on 4.-7.8.2018. The theme of this camp was "Pirates".

This event hosted an international staff team under WJR ambassador Program. and was organized by Mrs. Carmen Simpson. She brought 17 great jumpers and teachers with her, who belong to the world's top. (15 from the USA, 1 from Germany and 1 from Hungary)

All the participants worked on many different jump rope, gymnastic and dancing skills. They also did some creative and social activities.  

Coaches, teachers and parents had an opportunity to do a Coach led by Mr. Roger and Mrs. Crozier and also Judges training with Monica Forster. 

All 6 participants of those courses did excellent. They learnt many great teaching and judging skills and have got certification at the end of the camp. 

Participants of the camp were from 7 up to 51 years old. For the maximum efficiency in the training they were divided into 4 groups (A-D) according to their level. Individuality was a very important part of the training. 

Throughout the camp the participants rehearsed routines for the Camp Show, which took place on the last day of the camp.

Show was performed by all participant and staff as well. It was an amazing show and also a great ending of this successful camp.
